Eat In: La Vietnamita – Vietnamese delights in the coolest districts!
I’m a huge fan of Asian food and I discovered this Vietnamese restaurant not too long ago, so I knew I had to try it. La Vietnamita has already 3 different locations in Barcelona: Gràcia, Born, and the newest one in Sant Antoni; three of the coolest districts in the city!
The first one was opened in 2009 in Gràcia by a group of friends who wanted to share their love for vietnamese food after having traveled around Vietnam and Europe. They believed there was a lack of fresh asian food in the city.
As it clearly says, they offer Street Food Deli, a selection of fresh and healthy dishes from the streets of Vietnam.
It’s style is young, vibrant and fresh. It has high ceilings and open spaces. With quite a good selection, food, is really tasty, service is good and reasonable prices.
DRINK: Tiger Beer – Traditional Vietnamese beer
STARTER: Vietnamese Sushi
Main: Fish Curry
Dessert: Unfortunately no dessert this time. Sometimes one has to behave!
I also recommend the Red Curry. My friend ordered it and it was absolutely delicious!
Remember there are three locations, and apparently the menu varies from one location to the other, which means we’re going to have to visit them all and try all their yummy dishes!
